Here’s what my group of kids at Sunset Community Centre created on spring break…
In this exercise, the kids “digitize” a drawing by converting it into a pixellated version… it’s fun and the kids get a great kick out of it. The next step was converting these images into 8-bit code so they could “transmit” them to one another by reading numbers off a page.
PS – I’m experimenting with the built-in WordPress gallery – not sure I like it that much, but what do YOU think?
