My extremely high energy grade 4/5 class loved the show. The class was engaged, invited to take part in music, dance and hands on art. It was their favorite “field trip” or experience of the entire 2011/2012 school year. After seeing the production we had many conversations and reflections on the concepts introduced during the story. This work is engaging and relevant to language arts, music, dance and visual arts curriculum. I highly recommend any class seeing the show and hope that we have the opportunity to experience future productions from this wonderful community arts group.

Laura Atkinson B.A. M.A. SFU, Grade 4/5 Teacher,
Pierre Elliot Trudeau Elementary, Vancouver, B.C

Something Collective are:

Laura Barron
Juliana Bedoya
Natalie Gan
Flick Harrison
Maggie Winston

Camera by

Catherine Falkner
and
Juan Martinezguerra

THANKS

Cyndy Chwelos
Danita Noyes

All the kids from Trudeau Elementary!

This project was supported by Moberly Arts & Cultural Centre, Sunset Association and The Vancouver Board of Parks & Recreation.

This spring, Something Collective produced their first interactive theatre show for young audiences.
